The STA150CENT Grand Auditorium Guitar is a lone pine on the side of a granite slope. It is very distinct and instantly grabs attention. The STA150CENT has wonderful contrast in wood tones between the solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides which are all offset by a 3-ply mahogany binding (mahogany/maple/mahogany). This Grand Auditorium Guitar demands people pay attention to it. It looks amazing and like the lone pine on a windswept granite slope every eye for miles around will be drawn to it. But like all Teton guitars we want them to look fantastic but tone is always the first and foremost in our minds when designing guitars. If you want to have an exceptional guitar that matches the audible perfection with visual perfection you have come to the right guitar. The STA150CENT is an acoustic electric featuring a Fishman pickup and preamp system. This acoustic electric is built to create a sound as big as the Teton Range itself. The solid spruce top is strong and flexible which allows it to be very dynamic tonally. The auditorium body shape has great low end while still adding varied harmonics to the high end. The STA150CENT was designed to stand out visually and sonically.

REVIEW: Oct 01, 2014 by Bryce Wiseman
It's an unfortunate stereotype these days that the highest quality guitars are the ones that cost you the most. Teton shatters this mold by producing solid top instruments that honestly sound better than any other guitar at double or even triple its meager $600 price tag.

ve played Martins, Taylors, Gibsons... all of the supposed top brands in acoustics. In all cases, they either played terribly or sounded tinny and weak. This isn't the case with my Teton. Even without using the very discreet electronics, this thing really fills the room. The resonance is outstanding, and the neck is fast and easy to use for those quick bluegrass licks.

You don't have to use up your life savings for a quality acoustic electric that will last you a lifetime. You just need to know where to look for a Teton.
